📋 Step-by-Step Guide (5 Steps)
Identify Tag Type and Isolate Fabric
Inspect the security tag to determine if it has ink vials (glass/plastic cylinders filled with dye) or is a standard magnetic-clutch tag with a raised plastic dome. Wrap a plastic bag around the tag body and slip a cardboard guard between the tag base and the garment fabric. This protects the cloth from tool scratches and prevents dye contamination.

Method A: Apply Neodymium Magnet to the Dome
